Judy McCraw Settle, 73, of Amelia, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy M. and Aline Hartman McCraw, and son, Roy M. Settle. Judy is survived by her husband, Freddie; children, Lonnie Miller of Florida, Buffy E. Ogden of Amelia, and David A. Settle of Amelia; sisters, Jean M. Smith and Janet L. Poore, both of Amelia; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Judy retired after 21 years from the Va. Department of Corrections and was a member of Salem UMC of Amelia.
Visiting was held at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home in Amelia from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 14), and where services will be held at 12 noon today (Thursday, Sept. 15), with interment following in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
