Grange to host Community Fishing Fun and Cookout for Kids and Family

Terrapin Neck Grange will host its third annual Community Fishing Fun and Cookout for Kids and Family Saturday (June 11) at 3320 Richmond Road in Amelia. The event allows children the opportunity to fish at one of our member’s private, stocked pond for free with prizes being awarded and will allow the family to enjoy a free picnic lunch.

Registration for fishing begins at 10:30 a.m. with fishing beginning at 11 a.m. The picnic lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult. A donation of canned food is requested for the Amelia Food Pantry, but not required.

“We are so excited to be able to offer the fishing fun day again to the community!

Those planning to attend should RSVP to Grange member Juanita Tee at (804) 561-4419 no later than today (Thursday, June 9), so that we can make sure we have enough food available for the picnic,” said Grange President Diane Martin.
