June 26 - Deadline to register for 4-H Summer Fun "Take A Walk on the Wild Side" Day Camp, for children ages 9-14. Activities include a trip to Peak Experiences and a cook-out. For more information call Kevin Camm, 4-H Extension Agent at 561-2481.

June 28 - Men of Salvation Singers, the Over 40 Praise Dancers, and the Mount Olive Praise Dancers will perform a benefit for Harvesting of Souls, at 2 p.m. hosted by Rev. Dorsey Drawhorn at Hope Chapel.
June 29 - NAACP - Amelia Branch meets at 7 p.m. at the Russell Grove Building.

July 4 - Amelia Summer Cultural Series kicks off at the Amelia County Courthouse Square from noon - 4 p.m. with Allen Boan's AB Karaoke and Steve Aldrich's Dirty Deal band. For more information call the Extension Service at 561-2481.
