Aug. 27 - ACHS Varsity Raiders play the Mathews County Blue Devils at 7 p.m. at the Joe H. Paulette Memorial Recreation Park with special guest game announcer, Darrell "Mr. Rollback" Owens. More information about the Amelia County High School Raiders can be found at www.ameliacountyfootball.com.

Aug. 28 - Food distribution to those in need from 10 a.m. - noon at the Amelia Church of God by Faith. Call Pastor Ed Walls at 561-1393 for more information.

Sept. 2 - ACHS Junior Varsity Raiders play the Dan River Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. at the Joe H. Paulette Memorial Recreation Park. More information about the Amelia County High School Raiders can be found at www.ameliacountyfootball.com.

Sept. 4 - Russell Grove Alumni Association's 23rd Reunion at the Amelia County Elementary School. The social hour begins at 3 p.m. and dinner will be served at 4:30 p.m. The Soul Sonics will provide the entertainment.
